Comparing Education Internationally - VIP session at the "Study in Europe"
During the Youth Forum "Study in Europe" there will be a special session by a prominent speaker Tom Coupé
Tom Coupé - PhD, Free University of Brussels, 2002. Program Director and Assistant Professor, Kyiv School of Economics (KSE); Academic Director, Kyiv Economics Institute (KEI).
During the talk he will discuss different ways of ranking universities (some of it based on his own work on ranking economics departments - look at this page) and how such rankings should and should not be used. He will also provide some personal observations on differences in education between Westen Europe and Ukraine (based on his studies in Belgium and the UK, and his teaching in Ukraine)
To remind you, Youth Forum "Study in Europe" takes place on 22 October in Kyiv. Entrance and participation in all sessions is free of charge, but preliminary registration is needed at forum.unistudy.org.ua.
