What is the price for Love
The "Stepovi Vid'my" hut summarizes charitable project "What is the price for Love" in this school year
The basis of the project is the systematic work with children of voidable category in three directions: games and entertainment, creative work and general knowledge.
Project engages four orphanages in L'viv region: in the cities Sambir, Drogobych, Boryslav and L'viv.
In Sambir orphanage "Lyubystok" (Lovage) we started our work in October 2007 – it was the beginning of the project.
In this school year (since September till May) we organized and conducted:
15th-16th of November – drilling of volunteers in L'viv (22 participants); in December – legal trainings, dedicated to adoption of Human Rights Declaration, in Sambir orphanage "Lyubystok", Sambir boarding school and Drogobych orphanage "Oranta";
28th of February – charitable party in Truskavets'. For the gathered money there were bought office accessories for "Oriana" orphanage in Boruslav;
in March – 2 career guidance trainings in cooperation with representatives of local placement and social services in "Lyubystok" and "Oriana" orphanages.
The main result of our work is children's happiness and love, shared with us, but there are also some official achievements.
The project "What is the price for Love" was among 15 laureates of the "Good begins from You" competition, organized by "Ukraine-3000" foundation, and also was among 5 best projects, presented at the competition.
